Collection of umbilical cord blood is carried out by the staff of the maternity hospital and begins after cutting the umbilical cord, 1-3 minutes after the birth of the child. The volume of collected blood depends on the period of pregnancy, the weight of the child, the length of the umbilical cord and the time of the start of the procedure. The collected biomaterial is stored in a special personalized container for collecting umbilical cord blood, umbilical cord and placenta, which contains everything necessary for this procedure, will be delivered to the maternity hospital of your choice in advance of the expected day of delivery. For your convenience, the container can also be handed over to you.
